What is Jhatpat e-Account and how can it be opened with UBL Fund Managers?
Jhatpat e-Account is a paperless digital account for investing in conventional & Shariah complaint investment products being offered by UBL Funds and Al-Ameen Funds. It can be opened through UBL Smart Savings App or UBL Funds Online portal.

Who can use UBL Funds JhatPat e-Account facility?
All Pakistani adult nationals maintaining Bank Account OR Mobile Wallet Account in Pakistan Rupees can open individual e-account only. Existing account holder are ineligible to open new e-accounts currently.
Note: This facility is not available for Corporate/Jointly operated/Minors.
I am an overseas UBL Account holder; can I also open UBLFM JhatPat A/C?
Yes, Non-resident Pakistanis can open UBL Funds’ JhatPat e-Account, if you have a normal Pak Rupee Bank account maintained with any Bank or Mobile Wallet account in Pakistan. Please note that in case of NRP account holders, redemption proceeds cannot be credited in such accounts according to SBP’s Policy for such accounts.

What is the minimum investment requirement for UBL Funds e-Account opening?
JhatPat e-Account can be opened with as low amount as Rs.5000/- initially, meanwhile there is no maximum limit for investment (subject to completion of KYC requirements). Few investment schemes have different minimum investment criteria which will be visible in App & Portal for additional investments.
How I will get confirmation of UBL Funds Jhatpat e-Account opening?
Once, UBL Funds Jhatpat Opening process is completed successfully, you will receive a confirmation email on your registered email address along with updated transaction statement for your ready reference.
Can I invest in multiple schemes during UBL Funds Jhatpat e-Account opening?
At the time of account opening, you may invest in only one scheme. After that, once your Jhatpat Account is successfully opened then you can make additional investments in same or other investment schemes as well from App/Portal. You may need to complete risk profiling on App/Portal.
What would happen if I want to invest higher amount than limit imposed on Sahulat account?
You will be requested to provide documentary evidence for source of income as per regulations and UBL Funds’ AML & KYC Policy, which you can upload on the App or Portal.
How can I change my registered Bank account OR profile details?
You can download and complete Special Request Form-Local (SRF) as available in application forms on below link:

Is this service available 24×7?
Yes, request for UBL Funds Jhatpat opening can be initiated round the clock (24x7). However the transaction(s) processing and units’ purchase/sale price applicability will be as per business hours and transaction(s) Cut-off timings (updated on website and monthly FMR).
What if my SIM/mobile number is not issued against my CNIC?
You will be required to verify yourself via 4-Finger authentication and liveness* during account registration process.

How much time is required for UBL Funds e-Account opening?
It takes approximately 1-2 business days to open your Jhatpat Account with UBL Fund Managers followed by a confirmation email from UBL Fund Managers. Maximum regulatory deadline is 3 business days for acceptance or rejection of Account opening.
Is there any requirement to maintain minimum investment balance?
There is no such requirement to maintain any minimum investment balance.
Does my Internet banking or UBL Net Banking fund transfer limit get effected when I make investment online?
No, making an investment in UBL Funds from UBL Net Banking does not affect your daily limit, however daily limit will get affected if transfer is being made from any other Bank/wallet account. You may contact your respective Bank/Mobile Wallet provider for further confirmation.
Are there any charges on investment through my Internet Banking service?
There are no service charges for making investment via Internet Banking/Banking App service if transfer is made by mentioning reference number in your Bank/Mobile Wallet through Bill Payment service / 1Bill / KuickPay services. Whereas the applicability of upfront investment charges (Front-end load) may vary from scheme to scheme.
What is the procedure to withdraw investments?
You can place your request for redemption (withdrawal) in any scheme(s) through UBL Smart Savings App OR UBL Funds Online Portal.
What is the procedure to convert investment(s) form one scheme to another?
You can place your request for conversion from any scheme(s) to any other scheme(s) through UBL Smart Savings App OR UBL Funds Online Portal.
